If you’ve got rhythm, or even the occasional urge to “bust a move” on the dance floor, you can groove your way over to Sandpoint Park in Titusville on Saturday, February 28th for the third annual Spirit of Women Day of Dance.

Starting at 11:00am, Parrish Medical Center will host an awesome celebration of fitness and heart health. Enjoy a day of dance instruction, demonstrations, games, prizes and health screenings as part of the Red Shoe Initiative—a campaign that inspires women and families to get active! Every step counts and admission is free.

A special high-energy concert by recording artist and actor Drew Seeley will be the feature performance of the day. Seeley co-stars with Disney Channel's Selena Gomez in “Another Cinderella Story” and also starred in a 42-date North American tour followed by a five-country Latin American tour of High School Musical: The Concert. He can be heard on Walt Disney Records “Disneymania 6” with his version of Phil Collins’ “You'll Be In My Heart” as well as on the High School Musical and The Cheetah Girls 2 soundtracks. Immediately following his performance, Seeley will be available for autographs.

 

Families will also enjoy dance demonstration and instruction from emcees Alberto and Selena Hoyos, co-founders of Rhythmic Harmony International, Inc. Together, they have over 50 years of experience teaching, speaking, performing and dancing. Alberto and Selena have traveled the world, performing for world leaders, royalty, celebrities and many others.

 

“The power of music and dance moves people of all ages to become more confident, more relaxed and more fully engaged in their work and personal lives,” said Alberto Hoyos.

In addition, the day’s events will include getting active with the Radio Disney AM 990 Road Crew, jumping for joy with the National Double Dutch League, rock climbing, obstacle courses, mobile skate park, free health screenings and a live radio remote by WLRQ Lite Rock 99.3.
